

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Deep Groove Ball Bearing is a common type of bearings and it is used in several industries from heavy machinery to high precision apparatus. This type of bearings consists of four elements that include inner ring, outer ring, cage that holds balls and ball bearings. Because of the flat surface on outer ring and inner ring, Deep Groove Ball Bearings provides a larger area of contact that delivers high performance and high load capacity. Although Deep Groove Ball Bearings come in hundreds of models and sizes with different design and even different material used in inner ring, outer ring and the cage but basically they are categorized in four main sections.
The Single Row radial ball bearing has a single row of balls and can take pure radial, loads within its load capacity. It is widely used because it can operate at very high speeds due to its low torque and is cost-effective at an economical price.
As there is high degree of conformity between balls and raceways, the self-aligning capability of deep groove ball bearings is less, and therefore require well aligned bearing mountings.

For all bearings are extremely precise mechanisms, a designer must consider the benefits of tighter tolerances in terms of performance and bearing life. For example, there is a direct correlation with precision class and bearing life. Raceway parallelism, a feature controlled by ABEC, can impact bearing torque.
While the bearing tolerance classes primarily control boundary dimensions of the rings, it should also be noted that there are features that are critical to the bearings performance and life that are not controlled by the ABEC (or ISO) specifications. These include: internal clearance, surface finish, ball accuracy, torque, noise, cage type, and lubrication. These items should be specified along with the precision class when selecting bearings to ensure optimum life and performance.
